It is a good way to explore questions of social and cultural context. 2) How does the example of Kate Middleton show the way different meanings can be created in the media? When consuming media products, we should always question why they are being created and also by who they are created by. The audience needs to attempt to understand the reason why this product was made in a particular way and the meaning that is implied   toward  the audience consuming it, 4) How does Stuart Hall's theory of preferred and oppositional readings fit with representation? Hall had argued that audience not to passively accept the stereotypes presented by the media content and draw to their own social and cultural experiences

  1) Why did Laura Bates start the Everyday Sexism project? Laura Bates wanted to give women a outlet to speak up. 2) How does the Everyday Sexism project link to the concept of post-feminism? Is feminism still required in western societies? Everyday Sexism empowers women. I think feminism is still partly required in western societies due to a minority of groups like elderly which aren't raised up on those ideologies.  3) Why was new technology essential to the success of the Everyday Sexism project? Technology helped create a website to get their idea across to millions of people around the world. 4) Will there be a point in the future when the Everyday Sexism project is not required? What is  YOUR  view on the future of feminism? Yes because the future generations will be raised through these feminist ideas so they will already know about it. I believe that men and women should have equal rights however I think some feminists take it too far and I do not support that idea. Media
