Collective identity and representing ourselves

  1) Read the article and summarise each section in one sentence, starting with the section 'Who are you?' We are involved in constructing our own identity. 2) List  three  brands you are happy to be associated with and explain how they reflect your sense of identity. Samsung- I use my phone everyday to help me with my tasks. Sketchers- I wear these shoes daily to go gym. Dell- My home computer so I can do my studies. 3) Do you agree with the view that modern media is all about 'style over substance'? What does this expression mean? Yes because media would rather go for a more flashy story than the real truth. 4) Explain Baudrillard's theory of 'media saturation' in  one  paragraph. You may need to research it online to find out more. Media saturation means that there is a ton of cultural value placed on lifestyle that this shapes how someone lives. Society is heavily influenced by media saturation since most of the social norms are constructed by this. 5) I
